MIRIK : The town is centered on the Sumendu Lake. Is a historical site and a spectacular village, situated at a height of 5800 feet. This is the earlier capital of Sikkim where the first Bhutia King of Sikkim was crowned. Yuksom serves as the entry point to Kanchendzonga National Park, base camp for Dzongri and Goechala. A hotspot for tourist particularly the snow clad mountains, the lakes and unspoiled forest areas and valleys of flowers with rich natural surrounding. This is a usual base for high altitude treks to Dzongri and Goechala. The place is visited by backpackers who arrive here for these treks. It is 117 Kms from Gangtok in North Sikkim. North Sikkim is known for its numerous waterfalls, hot springs, glaciers, and the majestic snow covered Himalayas. Adjoining the Singha Forest Reserve and in the remote corner of India - China border - is a very picturesque landscape of snow peaked mountains, flowing river and riots of color from blooming rhododendrons. The road from Lachung to Yumthang is lined with rhododendrons. Lachung is the base for exploration of Yumey Samdong, the hot water spring and Yumthang, the valley of flowers. At an altitude of 3564 meters (11800 feet), close to Tibet, is a paradise on earth with rhododendron adding color to life. Take an excursion to Yumthang. The road from Lachung to Yumthang is lined with rhododendrons. Yumthang valley is also called the valley of flowers, paradise on earth, flowing River, hot water springs surrounded by Rhododendron forest reserve and the visibility of the Himalayan range can cast a spell on tourist.


Situated at an elevation of 7100 feet. A tiny settlement at the base of Maenam Hill, with pristine landscape and incredible scenery with a very few construction and a small population - is an upcoming destination. This wonderful place is located half way in between the road between Gangtok and Pelling. It is an ideal for leisure stay for in between hectic holidays. This is also an option for a day trek to Maenam Hill.

It is an exotic location situated at an elevation of 5570 feet. It is close to Yuksom, Pelling and Ravangla, an enchanting village of ancient Lepcha Chieftain.
